“Trust the Chef,” a true Ethan Stowell Restaurant tasting experience, lands at Goldfinch Tavern at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. As the name implies, Chef Joe Ritchie and his culinary team provide no menu to guide guests during their dinner.
“Trust the Chef is an impromptu feast making use of exciting, seasonal ingredients not yet on the menu, while showcasing the talents of our up-and-coming cooks,” says Joe Ritchie, Goldfinch Tavern Chef. “The team loves bringing their dishes to the table and seeing the delighted looks on people’s faces.”
Never the same dinner twice, the bespoke evening begins with a wave of four to six shared appetizers. The second course is either a pasta or fish dish, followed by an entrée course. Finally, end the evening on a sweet note with a decadent dessert.
